Episode 44: The Cheerfulness of Presumed Amusement

In Ep 44 we finish section 45 of Contributions to Philosophy (of the Event). Pivotal to this section is the distinction between decision that grounds the site for the grounding of the truth of beyng or decision that uses culture and worldview as resources in an unending technologized battle. Only in the former type of decision – not through the “cheerfulness of presumed amusement over the wonders of beings” – does philosophy discover its plight. We close with some musings on “expanded meditation” in politics and how the unconditioned giving power to the not-willing of goals instigates anxiety.
