Episode 16: Being Appropriated in Stillness and Silence

In Ep 16 we read section 13 of Contributions to Philosophy (of the Event) and discuss restraint as the basic disposition of Dasein, look at how restraint gives way to the silence and stillness that allows the appropriation by beyng (giving us access to the dominion of the last gods where being is opened and configured), and talk about how this relates to anxiety and care, ultimately musing that being ready to be appropriated in one’s stillness and silence is perhaps a more genuine and productive foray out of anxiety as compared to, for instance, the 8 Cs of IFS therapy.
